Association's activity is aimed at improving the competitiveness of the domestic pharmaceutical industry, preserving and increasing the production and financial potential of the pharmaceutical industry enterprises. ARFM is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and actively cooperates with the relevant federal government bodies: the Russian Ministry of Health, Roszdravnadzor, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, the Russian State Duma Committee on Health Protection.
ARFM representatives are members of the Council for the Development of Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry under the Government of the Russian Federation. ARFM CEO Victor Dmitriev is a co-chairman of the Working Group on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices under the subcommittee on improvement of control (supervision) and licensing functions of the federal executive bodies under the Government Commission on Administrative Reform, Chairman of the Public Council under the Federal Service for Supervision in Healthcare, a member of the Board of Roszdravnadzor.
