As part of the V All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Pharmaceutical Science: Challenges and Solutions in the 21st Century," a section was held on "Development of the Production of Pharmaceutical Substances, Their Intermediates, and Related Fine Chemicals Products." The moderator, Nikita Chernov, Director of the Research and Education Center for Chemical Technology of Organic Substances at SPHFA of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, presented in his report "half-measure" strategies involving molecular modeling, where testing of synthesized structures leads to a molecule becoming a drug candidate.
